Leave Encashment

Why should I use this form?

This form facilitates configuring certain leave types that can be encashed, in case there is a balance. Leave Encashment option allows the Facilitator to mention whether the leave can be encashed or not.

Leave type should be available

Who can access this form?

This form shall be visible to all employees to whom the visibility is given in Setup HRMS ® Module Role Mapping/ Module Administration.

How to navigate to this form?

Self Service à Absence à Leave Encashment.

 

All the eligible leave types are shown in the grid.

If the grid is empty then it means that there is no leave type available for the employee to encash.

Field guidelines are as follows:

Leave Name

Name of the leave type that is selected from the grid appears here.

Available Leave Balance

Shows the current leave balance for this leave type.

Encashment Days

Enter the Encashment Days to specify the number of days to encash.

Encashment Eligible  

Shows if eligible for encashment.

Eligible Days to

Encash

Shows the number of days that can be encashed.

Note: Even though the Available Leave balance is more than the number of eligible days, the employee can encash only upto the eligible days. For example, if the available leave balance is 20 and eligible days are 10, the employee can encash only upto 10 days.

Availed Days in Current A/C Period

Shows the number of days that has been already encashed.

Computed Amount

This is calculated according to the number of days that is entered in the ‘Encashment Days’ field.

Note: The rules for encashment will be handled by Payroll; this form will be routed to the appropriate facilitator for action.

Post Activity

On submission, it will be sent to approver for approval. Mail notification will be sent as per the settings done in the workflow definition.

On approval, the number of days availed will be deducted from the leave balance of the employee.
